Coaching helps people who are not struggling with a mental health diagnosis and who don't need a treatment plan. Coaching is about getting a partner to meet your goals, get and stay motivated, and focuses on making things better in the present and the future. Currently, I coach clients who want help meeting health goals, progress artistically, adjust to pregnancy or childbirth, or want help adjusting to other big life changes. Hypnotherapy: I am certified in clinical hypnotherapy and use this valuable tool to increase the power of imagination. Clinical hypnosis can help strengthen your motivation and guard your mind from intrusive thoughts and undue influences. Experience in Coaching: I began coaching in 2003 coming alongside new moms in pregnancy and postpartum, and helping people increase emotional resilience by learning new mental skills and strategies. Although I have added a psychotherapy credential since then and do that work as a separate vocation, my coaching is a very different process with a different clientele.
